6 hlm Modern humans tend to be busy with various activities of life to no longer have time to consume healthy and nutritious food, so instant food becomes the choice. The lack of nutritional knowledge leads to the consumption of food that is incompatible with the composition the body needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the stress factors and food pattern in obesity teachers at Senior High School at city of Kendari. This research design used cross sectional study. Samples were senior high school teachers who were obese as many as 250 people with purporsive random sampling as the sampling technique. Analysis of univariate and bivariate data using chi square test. The results showed that most of the samples were over 45 years old. Most of them were female. The statistic test showed that there was stress factor relationship with obesity (pv = 0.005 or X2 h = 8,065) and there was relationship between diet and obesity (pv = 0.013 or X2h = 6.175).
